Congratulations on the purchase of your Easy Business Cart Solution.

Probably the first thing you will want to do is to replace the logo at the top of the screen with your own. You can do this easily from your Admin - but before you do, you need to ensure that the image you are about to use is correctly optimised for use on the web. It is beyond the scope of this brief to show you how to do that, but there are plenty of tutorials on the internet - just search for "Image Optimisation Tutorials". There are also plenty of tools such as this one that will do the job for you.

Don't make your logo too large or you will push the rest of the page content down. We would recommend that a MAXIMUM image height of 200pixels is used for your logo.

Having prepared your image correctly, just login to Admin and go to Tools>Banner Manager where you will see an entry entitled "Welcome to our store". Click the edit button at the right of the screen.

1. Change the Banner Title if you wish - this is the text that pops up when you hover the mouse over the logo.
2. The Banner URL should be left as it is so that clicking on the store logo at the head of the page will always bring people back to the site homepage. This is behaviour that people expect. However, if you really want to, you can change this to another location.
3. Delete the filename ebclogo.jpg
4. Click the Browse button and navigate to the image file of your own logo on your own computer.
5. There is no need to change anything else on this page. Click Update and then the Online Catalogue link atthe top right of this page and you will see your own logo on display.

The second thing to do will most likely be to change THIS text for something relevant to your new store. Go to admin>Tools>Define Pages Editor. Ensure that the Text Editor box displays TinyMCE and then select define_main_page.php from the Select a file to edit drop down

You will then be presented with a WYSIWYG editor containing this text which you can change as required.
